Pearson Airport Update – US Airways Now Based in Terminal 3

Since US Airways’ merger with American Airlines was announced last year, frequent users of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport have expected changes to be made to one or the other Stateside airline’s base of operations at YYZ. US Airways has long flown in and out of Terminal 1, while American Airlines has operated out of Terminal 3.

As confirmed today by Pearson International Airport’s website and Facebook page, US Airways will begin operating out of the airport’s Terminal 3 effective tomorrow. As of 1 am on Wednesday, May 28th, US Airways moves into T3’s check-in counters 151 to 156, with its first flight gating at T3 sometime around 6:15 am that morning.

Global Alliance’s reservationists, dispatchers, and chauffeurs have all been made aware of this change and will adjust existing US Airways arrivals and departures accordingly. New bookings will also begin to reflect this change.
