Please note the following road closures on the Gardiner Expressway for the coming week of April 28 to May 2:

All lanes of the eastbound Gardiner Expressway from Highway 427 to the Don Valley Parkway will be closed from 10 pm to 5 am each night, Monday April 28 through Thursday, May 1. This is for setup of the long-term Gardiner maintenance project mentioned in a previous posting here, which is due to run for the next couple of years. These closures will continue on a weekly basis, but will continue to be updated on this blog.

In addition to these closures, lane reductions will continue between Ellis Avenue and Dufferin Street with the left lane in both westbound and eastbound directions occupied for median reconstruction. This work has been in progress since March and will continue until at least July 21st. On top of this work, there is also construction beginning Monday, April 28 on the centre median between Park Lawn Rd and the Humber River in both directions in the right and left shoulder lanes. These blockages will continue each day from 7 am to 7 pm until August 20th.
